I’ve just read the devastating news of Rob’s untimely passing.  Please receive my deepest condolences on your loss. 

It is so difficult to find words.  I can only imagine how numb you and your partners must feel.  I did not know Rob well, yet I have always perceived him as a deep, yet pragmatic thinker who had Bowmans’ well-being as his first, second and third professional priority.  I also know that Rob was very respected across South Africa’s communities, legal and beyond. 

Please know that your firm is on a strong foundation for the future not only because, but especially because, Rob was such impressive partner of and leader for your partnership.
