Overview
Zingisa is returning to her roots as a private equity lawyer. She brings extensive experience gained in legal, compliance and governance roles in the private and public sectors, as well as in ESG, business strategy and leadership consulting.
Her career has been varied and versatile. After being admitted as an attorney just over 20 years ago, Zingisa spent time with a leading international law firm, rising to the position of senior associate before leaving to complete an MBA.
Zingisa has over a decade of in-house legal and governance service in both private and public sector institutions, providing strategic leadership to large and small teams and managing an annual budget in excess of ZAR 50 million. Her experience involves leading negotiations on various cross-border power sector infrastructure projects, including power transmission lines, exploration of green energy projects in hydro and gas as well as power trading.

Jurisdictions in which transactions worked on: Saudi Arabia, Uganda, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Democratic Republic of Congo.
Most recently, Zingisa was a senior strategy and economic development advisor on a mega-infrastructure project in the Middle East. She has also been advising some private equity investment houses on their ESG policies, strategies and pre-investment due diligence work.
