Experience

  • Provided advice to multinational companies in relation to promotion, marketing, and advertising in compliance with Kenyan laws and regulations.
  • Advised both local and international clients on data protection compliance.
  • Involved in conducting due diligences for multinational companies with regards to their IP and IT systems, data protection and regulatory compliance.
  • Provided advice to clients on both contentious and non-contentious IP including undertaking the registration, renewal and assignment of various forms of IP in Kenya.
  • Advised and assisted local, regional and international clients in setting up various legal entities in Kenya as well as preparing and filing the relevant documents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Nairobi.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDip – Law) from the Kenya School of Law.
  • Certificate of Professional Mediation (CPM) from the Mediation Training Institute.
