Recently Robert has advised:

  • Confidential client in the DFI sector on the acquisition of a stake in a group of companies operating in the agricultural value chain, including conducting a legal due diligence and drafting the transaction agreement
  • Confidential client in the Saudi Arabian aerospace sector on the acquisition of a stake in a South African aerospace engineering company, including conducting a legal due diligence.
  • * Czech-based global chemicals producer on its agreement to acquire the sodium cyanide business from Sasol. The deal value was in excess of USD95 million
  • *Confidential Global Oil Company on its acquisition of the African assets of a Major US Petroleum Corporation. The deal value was in excess of USD100 million
  • *Old Mutual on the acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital of a financial services company, including conducting a legal due diligence and drafting the share purchase agreement
  • *West Indian Ocean Cable Company (WIOCC) with respect to the acquisition of the assets of an information technology company, including drafting the transaction/framework agreement and the shareholders’ agreements. The deal value was in excess of USD6 million.
  • *Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques on its African continent restructuring and reorganization in more 30 African jurisdictions. The restructuring and reorganization included advising on regulatory compliance with respect to the relevant corporate, licensing and employment law requirements.
  • *Confidential Major US online retailer on the protection of personal information, consumer protection, trade and importation legislation and the South African standards and compulsory specifications in respect of various electronic consumer products and subscriptions
  • *Helix SG on the regulatory requirements with respect to the business regulations in various African jurisdictions
