Overview
Norma is an Executive Consultant for the Reward Advisory Services team and a member of the Employment and Benefits practice. She has management consulting experience to a wide spectrum of clients across various industries. Her key focus areas are Remuneration Governance, Reward Strategy and Philosophy Design, Reward Related and Human Capital Policies, Short Term Incentive Design, Benchmarking as well as Job Profiling and Evaluation.
Norma is a candidate for the Executive MBA through Henley Business School and is a Chartered Reward Specialist, with the South African Reward Association (SARA). Norma further holds the Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) Accreditation through the World at Work in the US and is a Certified Director through the Institute of Directors Southern Africa (IoDSA).
Experience
- Norma has worked in various corporates as a Reward Manager and Head of Reward. With the primary functions of setting and implementing policies for reward, including salary and benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, retention, and recognition. She was further responsible for interacting with the Group Remuneration Committee and assisting with institutional investor communication regarding investor reward. Additionally, Norma was responsible for the Payroll, HR Management Information System and Employee Wellness functions. From 2018- 2021, Norma was the Principal Officer of a South African HealthCare company’s Pension and Provident fund, and Executive Director for the JSE listed Subsidiary.
- In 2022, Norma participated on panel of Judges of the South African Reward Association (SARA), for the Reward Project of the Year, 2022. Norma was also a Conference Speaker at the South African Reward Association (SARA) Conference, on the topics of Work/life Balance and Retention in 2010/2011.

- Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology from the North West University.
- Honours and BCom degrees from the University of Johannesburg.
