This includes preparing transfer pricing documentation and preparing and submitting exchange control applications to the South African Reserve Bank’s Financial Surveillance Department as well as the Department of Trade and Industry.
  • Conducting international corporate tax due diligences and tax health-checks.
  • Assisting clients with preparation and review of controlled foreign companies’ “net income” calculations and IT10B Schedules.
  • Advising a South African multinational pharmaceutical group on the VAT implications attendant on their day-to-day transactions.
  • Preparing and reviewing VAT and corporate income tax returns for a South African multinational pharmaceutical group.
  • Preparing and reviewing current income tax workings, deferred tax workings and tax notes for a South African multinational pharmaceutical group.
  • Advising clients on the tax implications of remote working

AREA OF EXPERTISE

Qualifications

  • BCom in Financial Management (with Distinction) and a BCom Honours in Taxation from University of Pretoria.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in International Tax from the University of Johannesburg.
