Overview

Mbali Mnyandu is an associate in our Employment and Benefits practice in Johannesburg.

As an associate in the practice group, she assists with, amongst other things, corporate due diligences, drafting and reviewing of employment related policies, assisting with POPIA compliance, disciplinary action against employees and investigations for disciplinary purposes.

Mbali has completed rotations in various practice areas such as Aviation where she assisted with advising international insurance companies and litigious matters. She also assisted with the restructuring of multiple airlines. Mbali has also spent some time in our Tax practice group.

Before being retained in our Employment and Benefits practice group as an associate, Mbali spent six months in the practice group as a candidate attorney. During that time, she assisted with advising corporate companies on matters related to various aspects of employment and administrative law, review proceedings in the Labour Court, unfair dismissals, disciplinary enquiries and litigation in private arbitrations in the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation Arbitration (CCMA). She also assisted in instituting disciplinary action measures against employees of various corporate entities.

Mbali did her last rotation in our Corporate Investigations practice area. During her time in Corporate Investigations, she assisted with, without limitation, advising SOEs with various legal queries, conducting corporate investigations and assisting with litigious matters.
