Mark is also adept at preparing redistribution agreements and powers of attorney, ensuring all legal documents meet the highest standards of accuracy and clarity.

In the realm of civil litigation, Mark has demonstrated his prowess in both the High Court of Namibia as well as the Magistrates Courts. His experience spans collections representation for prominent local commercial banks such as the Development Bank of Namibia, Bank Windhoek, First National Bank of Namibia, and Nedbank Namibia. Furthermore, Mark has advised clients dealing with delictual claims and matrimonial matters with finesse.

Recently, Mark has made a strategic shift in focus towards real estate law and conveyancing. As he works towards qualifying as a conveyancer, Mark is poised to excel in real estate transactions, conveyancing procedures and the transfer of property ownership. His role will encompass advising on real estate law intricacies, negotiating and finalizing transactions and spearheading real estate projects and developments, including sectional title developments.

Mark’s dedication to conveyancing excellence has further integrated him into our Namibian offices’ Banking and Finance Department, where he assists in advising on the registration of securities such as mortgage bonds and notarial bonds. His responsibilities include providing guidance on loan agreements to local lenders, borrowers, and guarantors.

Experience

Mark has been assisting our conveyancing department with:

  • The drafting of mortgage bond documents.
  • The drafting of agreements and transfer documents on behalf of private clients and local authorities.
  • Attendances at the Deeds Office for all conveyancing related matters.
  • Attendances in respect of due diligences on properties and registered entities and research on property related matters and legislation.
