Allen has experience in matters including mergers and acquisitions, employment advisory, corporate advisory work, private equity transactions and regulatory compliance. Allen also advises clients on data protection and Information and Communication Technology.
Experience
- Instrumental in preparation of Simmons and Simmons LLP Clean Energy Tool for Tanzania. The Clean Energy Tool is designed as a “one-stop-shop” for comprehensive information relating to investment in clean energy projects across various jurisdictions.
- Preparation of Land due diligence report involving a transfer of business valued at over USD 1,15 million.
- Successfully reduced the total taxed amount from USD 9,000 to USD 2,000 in a Bill of Cost proceeding against a telecommunication client.
- Part of the team representing the World’s largest brewer at the Fair Competition Tribunal against the Fair Competition Commission regarding a restricted merger which was subsequently overturned and Tribunal and allowed to proceed.
- Involved in the preparation of quarterly and annual Local Content plans for our mining clients and financial service providers.
- Involved in the incorporation of extractive sector companies dealing in mining and energy production.
